- In this first module of level 2, we delve deeply into the concept of breath sufficiency.
- First we examine the role of lung capacity and show simple, scientifically proven exercises for increasing lung capacity, specifically targeting inspiratory muscle conditioning.
- We examine the mechanics of breathing and identify the aspects of breathing that are inherent versus those that are within our domain of control to improve.
We address breath holding versus elasticity and reactivity, breath saturation training, and then we examine deficiency training, to learn how to familiarize ourselves with deprived states and to excel at doing more with less. An absolute must for anyone serious about stress management, anxiety, or performance enhancement in athletics.
